Officers

President
Wayne Boseman was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Wayne attended North Carolina State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management in 1993 with a minor in Accounting. Following graduation, Wayne managed the 8,000 acre Boseman family farm from 1993 to 2001. The farm diversified in many crops, including tobacco, cotton, peanuts, soybeans and sweet potatoes. Wayne also managed a cucumber packing operation, buying from growers throughout eastern NC and selling to pickle manufacturers throughout the US, and a peanut buying station which served a three county area including Nash, Edgecombe and Halifax counties.
Wayne initially joined Carolinas Cotton Growers Cooperative in 2001 as a Market Analyst where his responsibilities include brokerage relations, execution of futures trades, market research and analysis. In 2004, Wayne was appointed Vice President of Brokerage for the Cooperative's newly established subsidiary Southeast Futures Management.
In 2015, Wayne left the Cooperative to take a position as Director of Operations for Braswell Foods where he was responsible for grain purchasing, feed operations and egg operations. Braswell Foods is a large privately owned egg and feed company that produces both conventional and organic feed and eggs as well as being the second largest Egglands Best franchisee in the US.
Wayne rejoined the Cooperative in 2017 and now serves as President.
Wayne and his wife Gretchen have a son Micah and reside in Aventon, NC where he serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Rocky Mount.

Vice President Operations
Donald Robinson is a native of Sampson County, North Carolina where he worked many summers on local area tobacco farms. He graduated from Clinton High school in 1971 and later attended N.C. State University. Donald graduated from the Raleigh School of Data Processing in 1974 and began his career in Information Systems working as a programmer with the Wake County Government, which shared a joint Data Processing Center at Wake Medical Center. In 1979, Donald began working with Wake Medical Center as the Assistant Data Processing Manager with responsibility over programming, technical support and systems analysis. In 1989, Donald was promoted to Director, Information Systems with the responsibility over a 4 million dollar annual budget and 30 employees. Donald served as President of the Datacare User Group and President of the North Carolina VSE/ESA User Group.
Donald came to work with Carolinas Cotton Growers Cooperative in 1995 as Director of Information Systems where his primary responsibility was computer automation for the cooperative and warehouses. In 1996, Donald became Vice President of Operations with the responsibility for information systems, shipping, classing, warehousing and domestic mill sales for North Carolina. In 2017, Donald assumed the responsibly for all domestic and export sales for the cooperative. Donald also serves as an officer to the Cooperative’s subsidiary company, Cotton Growers Warehouses, Inc.
Donald is active in the cotton industry as a Board Member for the Cotton Growers Warehouse Association (CGWA), EWR, Inc. and Cotton Council International. He has previously served on the board for the North Carolina Cotton Promotion Association and the National Cotton Council.
Donald is married to wife, Vicki, and together they have four children: Kevin, Justin ,Stacy and Emily. He and his family reside in Raleigh, NC.

Vice President Finance
Matthew Williams is a native of Johnston County, North Carolina where he worked during his youth in the tobacco fields in and around his hometown of Clayton. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from North Carolina State University in 1990, and passed the NC uniform CPA examination upon graduation. Matt began his career in public accounting where he worked for four years from 1990 to 1993 with the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. He served as an auditor for KMPG working out of the Raleigh, NC office and was senior auditor from 1992 to 1993 coordinating audit engagements including that of Carolinas Cotton Growers Cooperative.
Matt worked for a short period of time for Investors Mangement Corporation, in Raleigh, NC before coming to work for Carolinas Cotton Growers Cooperative in the fall of 1994 as Vice President of Finance. Matt oversees all finance functions for the Cooperative and its subsidiary companies, Cotton Growers Warehouses, Inc. and Southeast Futures Management, Inc. His responsibilities include preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, commercial bank reporting and cash management functions. Matt manages the relationships with the Cooperative's commercial banks, external auditors and tax service providers, corporate attorneys, investment advisors and corporate insurance providers. Matt also handles all human resource functions for the Cooperative and serves as Secretary/Treasurer to the board of directors of the Cooperative and its subsidiaries.
Matt continues to maintain his CPA license and is active in industry organizations including the NC Association of CPA's and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. He serves in various roles with his church, Shine Community Church. Matt and his wife Courtney and family reside in Clayton, NC.
